At 9:25 pm the Walnut Ridge Fire Department was called to the scene of a structure fire involving a large home on NE 3rd Street.
As firefighters arrived on scene, two individuals were seen running from the burning structure. Officers from the Walnut Ridge Police Department were informed of the subjects by firemen, officers then began to search the area.
Firefighters arrived on scene and described the structure having visible flames showing, Walnut Ridge Fire Department rolled all of it’s equipment including “Tower 1â€. The structure was a total loss, firefighters were on scene until late in the night.
No word from the Walnut Ridge Police Department concerning the individuals seen running from the burning structure at this time.
