The Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was paged to the scene of a one vehicle accident on Hwy 115 just past the Imboden Fire Station around 4:40 pm on Friday.

Firemen on scene discovered a victim trapped in the damaged vehicle which according to reports struck a pole. Imboden responded with it’s Rescue 4 and extrication equipment, at 4:50 pm the victim was removed by the fire department and being assessed by medics from AET Ambulance of Imboden.

Deputies from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office were also on scene to assist. Imboden was clear from the scene at 5:15 pm and back in service.

The accident is being investigated by the Arkansas State Police. AET Ambulance transported the victim to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. The vehicle was removed by Dail’s Wrecker Service of Ravenden
