On February 12, 2012 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Police arrested Leann Kay Rigatuse (10/01/65) OF Bellevue, NE for possession of a controlled substance (meth ice) and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest came after a State Trooper stopped a vehicle near Black Rock for no tags. During the stopped he noticed the occupants acting nervous and called for the Lawrence County K-9 unit. Once on scene the deputy ran the dog around the vehicle and the dog alerted on the vehicle. Rigatuse was asked about any illegal substances in the vehicle. Rigatuse told the officers that she had several baggies of meth ice and a meth pipe in her purse. Officers retrieved the items and placed Rigatuse under arrest, she was then transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing. At a hearing on Monday bond was set at $2,500 and a Circuit Court date of March 15 was issued.
