Free help with your tax returns, including electronic filing, will be offered again to persons of all ages at the AARP Tax-Aide site in Imboden. AARP- Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest, free, volunteer-run tax counseling and preparation service. Our free service can answer most tax issues faced by middle and low-income taxpayers of any age, with special attention to those age 60 and older.

The Imboden site will be one mile west of town on Hwy 412 at the entrance to the Cedar Glade Baptist Encampment and then left into the Koinonia Christian Fellowship building.  Call our NEW NUMBER, 870-844-5062, for an appointment.  The site will be open on Tuesdays and some Saturdays starting Feb 7th and ending April 10th.

Volunteers manning the site are: Gena Stout, Karna McFadden, Melissa Pinto and Gerene Dildine. Appointments highly recommended, but walk-ins are accepted on an “if possible” basis.  Look for the yellow sign on Highway 412.

With the help of more than 32,000 volunteers, the AARP Tax-Aide program provides free tax preparation and assistance services to millions of low- and middle-income taxpayers. Electronic filing is offered, free of charge,  by the program. The program’s funding sources include the US Internal Revenue Service, AARP, and private contributions.
