Imboden Man Charged With Rape And Incest by Lawrence County Sheriff’s Investigators

 
On January 19, 2012 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Carl Holcomb (06/15/46) of Imboden on charges of rape and incest. The arrest came after the Crimes Against Children Hotline received a call that Holcomb was molesting some minor females at his residence near Imboden. Deputies and Crimes Against Children investigators interviewed 4 minor females about the allegations. 3 of the minor females told investigators that Holcomb had indeed had sexual contact with them. Detailed statements were taken from the minor females. The information was used to obtain a warrant for Holcomb. During the investigation deputies learned that Holcomb had similar charges in the past in Mississippi. Deputies went to Holcomb’s residence and placed him under arrest. Holcomb was transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
