On Wednesday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call of a structure fire at the Turning Point Rehabilitation Building in Clover Bend.
Firefighters from Clover Bend, Alicia, Hoxie, Portia, Sedgwick and Walnut Ridge were all paged due to the rural location of the building, time of day and available personnel.
Ambulances from Medic One and AET Ambulance of Walnut Ridge were also staged on scene as well as several deputies from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office to assist with traffic.
No injuries were reported, the building was a total loss. A very special thanks to Deputy Jamie White and Deputy Terrence Ward of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office for the use of their photos.
