At 8:40 pm the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call of a structure fire at the “Snack Shack†located on Hwy 63 in Ravenden. The Lawrence County Dispatch Center paged the Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department and also paged the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department for mutual aid assistance.
Ravenden firefighters arrived on scene with two engines, a tanker and a brush truck to find that it was a mobile home located behind the “Snack Shackâ€. Imboden arrived on scene at 8:49 pm to assist Ravenden bringing an additional engine, brush truck and rescue truck as well as manpower. The fire was quickly under control and extinguished.
The mobile home was unoccupied at the time of the fire and there were no injuries reported. AET Ambulance of Imboden had an ambulance on scene for assistance. The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police and Ravenden Police Department were also on scene to lend any assistance needed.
