Three inmates from the Craighead County Jail escaped on Wednesday night after a 7pm inmate check. Craighead County officials stated the inmates were seen crawling up a wall and escaping through a crawl space on video surveillance.
Of the three escaped inmates, Jason Brown, Zachary Dunn and Korey Kitchen, one escaped inmate has ties to Lawrence and Randolph Counties.
Zachary Lynn Dunn was convicted in October 2005 for Residential Burglary/Commercial Burglary and Theft of Property. Dunn was also convicted in December 2005 for Theft Of Property and in August 2006 he was convicted of 1st Degree Escape in Randolph County.
