On November 01, 2011 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Guzman Hererra (01/30/89) of Pocahontas for commercial burglary and theft of property. The arrest stems from a burglary of a business in Portia back in April of 2010. The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Police investigated the burglary. Entry into the business was gained by kicking in a back door and $300.00 was taken from the business during the burglary. Information gathered during the investigation lead to a warrant being issued for Hererra. The warrant was entered into ACIC and NCIC. Hererra was located in Osceola and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
