On October 27, 2011 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Nathan Stacy (02/09/78) of Calamine for internet stalking of a child, sexual indecency with a child and harassment. The arrest came after deputies took a report of an adult man sending sexual explicit texts to a 14 year old female. The female replied to Stacy that she was only 14 and Stacy continued to send the sexual in nature texts. The texts then progressed into pictures of his privates and also a shot of his face. With the information gathered from the girl’s IPhone, a warrant was obtained for Stacy. Deputies went with Sharp County Deputies and arrested Stacy at his residence in Sharp County. Stacy was transported to the Lawrence County Jail. Deputies Mirandize and interviewed Stacy. Stacy admitted to sending the texts and the photos. At a hearing on October 31 bond was set at $25,000 and a Circuit Court date of November 16.
