Downtown Walnut Ridge was a busy place to be this year at the 2011 Iron Mountain Festival. Several blocks of the downtown district were closed to traffic and lined with hundreds of guests.
The weather was perfect for an outside event, just the right amount of warm sunshine! Vendors lined the street, live music was played on the main stage and lots and lots of food. Guest also enjoyed a motorcycle show, Walnut Ridge Fire Department tent, Walnut Ridge Police Department tent and the Sheriff’s Office Mobile Command Center just to name a few. The event was also one of three locations for the “RX Takeback†program for the Sheriff’s Office. Members of ATOD were on hand at the Sheriff’s Mobile Command helping distribute information on the dangers of drinking and drugs.
