In addition to his daily duties to Lawrence County residents, Sheriff Jody Dotson has had a busy week touring several Lawrence County schools for “Red Ribbon Weekâ€.

Sheriff Dotson was joined by members of ATOD and Deputy Blake Liscomb at the Imboden Area Charter School where Sheriff Dotson presented a program to the students on the dangers of drugs and alcohol. The students also got to spend so time with the K-9 Deputy and his partner. Sheriff Dotson and Deputy Liscomb responded to lots of questions from the student, afterwards students we able to pet “Ben†the Sheriff’s K-9 as they returned to their classes. After an hour, Sheriff Dotson, Deputy Liscomb and the members of ATOD were off to visit another school.
