Monday, Sheriff Jody Dotson visited the Imboden Boy Scout Troop 728 at their regular meeting held at the Imboden Church of Christ.
Sheriff Dotson presented a slide-show for the scouts teaching the dangers of drugs. Sheriff Dotson’s program a wide range of illegal drugs and the effects of illegal drugs. Sheriff Dotson gave the scouts informative books on drugs and drug uses. At the end of his program, scouts had several questions for the Sheriff. Sheriff Dotson replied to all the questions and also showed the scouts a second slide-show that included a more in-depth look into the dangers of drugs.
At the end of the scouts meeting, all the scouts signed a “Drug Free Pledgeâ€.
