Saturday the members of the Hoxie Department greeted the public at the 2nd Annual Open House held at the Hoxie Fire Department and the Hoxie Service Center.
In attendance at the event were members of the Hoxie Fire Department, members of the Sedgwick Fire Department, Hoxie Police Department, Sheriff Dotson and members of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, Lawrence County Dispatch Center, AET Ambulance and Medic One Ambulance.
Visitors viewed fire trucks belonging to both Hoxie and Sedgwick Fire Departments, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office Mobile Command Center, ambulances and the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Fire Safety House. Children stood in line inside the Hoxie Service Center for balloon creations made by the “Balloon Ladyâ€. Lunch was served by the Hoxie Fire Department for guest on hand as well as drawings for prizes.
