On September 22, 2011 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Trevor Williams (11/02/89) of Black Rock for domestic battery in the 1st degree, endangering the welfare of a minor and terroristic threatening. The arrest came after a 911 call came in to the Lawrence County Communications Center of a woman being beaten at a residence in Black Rock. AET ambulance, Black Rock first responders and a Lawrence County Deputy were dispatched to the residence. At the scene the victim was found in the bathroom covered in blood. The victim identified Williams as her attacker. The victim told the deputy that Williams had struck her in the head, ribs and hand with a wrench. She also stated that she was holding a baby at the time of the attack and that Williams had threatened to kill her, the baby and himself. AET transported the victim to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for treatment. Williams was transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing. A search warrant was obtained for the property and the wrench was recovered along with some clothing and other items covered in blood.
