 Reports on the injured Animal Control Officer injured last week in a one vehicle accident which sent a pickup truck into the front of the Walnut Ridge Police Department are coming in.
Robert Rice is still in The Med in Memphis recovering from an incredible amount of injuries. Rice has a broken left leg, broken in two places, he’s had surgery on Wednesday placing pins and rods in the injured leg. Rice also suffers from 13 broken ribs and 4 fractured vertebras as well as 2 fractures to his pelvis.
The good news is that Robert Rice was moved from Trauma ICU to a step down unit. Robert’s family ask that you keep Robert in your thoughts as he recovers.
The accident occurred on September 13th, killing the driver of the 2003 Toyota pickup truck, Brian Davis of Pocahontas.
