Tips Lead To Another Most Wanted Arrest By The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office

On September 01, 2011 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Dept. returned one of its most wanted from VA, Joshua Horn (11/11/87) formally of Lawrence County. The arrest came after Horn was placed on probation back on February 11, 2010 for an aggravated assault for 48 months. Horn skipped out on his probation back last September and failed to notify anyone of his whereabouts. A warrant was issued after failed attempts to locate Horn. Horn was placed on the Lawrence County most wanted site and a few weeks back tips started coming in that Horn was in VA. The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office was contacted with a possible address on Horn where he was picked up and held for an extradition hearing. After the hearing Augusta County contacted Lawrence County that Horn was ready to return. Horn is now being held in the Lawrence County Jail on a $10,000 bond and a Circuit Court date of September 14. Horn will be charged with the expenses incurred in his extradition back to Lawrence County.
