Â
On August 23, 2010 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Dept. arrested William Watson (07/23/76) of Bald Knob for theft of property and criminal trespass. The arrest came after an agri power unit was stolen from the Alicia area on or about August 16. The power unit was recovered in Jackson County. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Dept. and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Dept. worked together to get information on who had taken the power unit. The Sheriff’s Depts. got leads and came up with two suspects. Information gathered was used to write and affidavit and obtain warrants for Watson and a female subject, Cheryl Choate. Watson was picked up in White County and transported back to Lawrence County to await a bond hearing. Bond was set at $50,000 and a Circuit Court date of October 05 was issued. Choate has been placed on the most wanted site and any information to her whereabouts will be greatly appreciated.
