Friday, September 9th 2011 is WWII School Days. Area students will experience math, science, chemistry and social studies through hands-on activities and programs on useful French phrases, women’s roles and jobs through time, and using WWI period safety equipment.

Saturday, September, 10th is open to the public and in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War and the 199th anniversary of the War of 1812; we are inviting impressions from all periods of Arkansas and American history. Living historians will be conducting programs for the public representing Arkansas’ Colonial, Territorial, early Statehood, War with Mexico, Civil War, WWI, and WWII periods.

Camps will open to the public at 9:30 am on Saturday.

Programs and activities from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm

Period music and entertainment from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm

Public WWII battle at 1:00p.m
