At 11:19am on Thursday, the Lawrence County Dispatch paged AET Ambulance and the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department to the scene of a one vehicle accident on Hwy 63 in front of the Imboden Area Charter School.
 
AET Ambulance arrived first on scene and reported no injuries but stated the south bound lane of Hwy 63 was blocked. Imboden arrived on scene shortly after with it’s Rescue 3 and 4 vehicles to control traffic. AET Ambulance also remained to assist with traffic.
 
Imboden Asst. Chief Jim Jones stated their was minimum damage to truck and notified dispatch that they would be moving the truck to a parking lot in order to open up Hwy 63 traffic. Jones also reported that Entergy’s main pole was broken, but the lines and transformer were still attached.
 
Parts of Imboden experienced a short outage at the time of the accident, but power quickly came back on. Imboden firemen were clear of the scene at 11:46am. Crews from Entergy were still on scene making repairs. The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office was on scene conducting an investigation into the accident.
