At 5:18pm the Lawrence County Dispatch Center received a 911 call of a kitchen fire at the White residence located at 71 Lawrence 125 in the Ravenden fire district.

 

The Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department was paged and in route to the fire at 5:20pm. Ravenden Asst. Fire Chief John Stoll at that time called for the assistance of the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department.

 

Ravenden responded with it’s Engine 2 and Brush Truck, Imboden responded with it’s Engine 6 at 5:24pm. Ravenden firemen checked on scene and reported heavy smoke from the residence. Imboden’s Engine 6 was on scene at 5:32pm shortly followed by Ravenden’s Engine 2.

 

At 5:52pm Imboden Fire Chief Chris Jones requested dispatch to contact Craighead Electric and have them come to the location of the fire to deal with the incoming power to the residence.

 

Fire Chief Chris Jones reported to the Lawrence County Dispatch that the fire was contained at 6:05pm, Chief Jones advised Imboden and Ravenden would be on scene for a while with clean up.
