Ribbon Cutting And Open House Held At The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Substation
Sheriff Jody Dotson on Thursday entertained guest at the Sheriff’s Office Substation here in Imboden. Members of the Lawrence County Chamber Of Commerce were in attendance and held a “Ribbon Cutting†for the substation.
Captain Stan Finley kept the grill full of hamburgers and hot dogs, guest were treated to sodas and chips to go along with the burgers and hot dogs. Sheriff Dotson and his deputies gave tours of the offices and entertained questions.
In attendance along with Sheriff Jody Dotson, County Judge Dale Freeman, Circuit Judge Phil Smith, Members of the Lawrence County Chamber Of Commerce and others were among the crowd.
The Sheriff explained to all guest how the Substation is a helpful tool for deputies, allowing them to complete reports, have access to computers and phones without having to drive back to Walnut Ridge. He also pointed out how most of the furnishing and computers were donated to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office for use in the substation.
