On August 17, 2010 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Dept. arrested Kathleen Cochran (08/07/59) of West Plains, MO for possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of a controlled substance (K2), possession of drug paraphernalia and DWI drugs. The arrest came after deputies stopped the vehicle Cochran was driving near Black Rock for going all over the road. When the deputies spoke with Cochran about her driving they noticed she was having problems with her speech. Deputies asked her to get out of her vehicle and noticed she was holding a pipe. Deputies asked Cochran about the pipe and she told them it was K2. Deputies placed Cochran under arrest and during the arrest found two bags of meth ice. Cochran was transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing. At a hearing on August 18, bond was set at $500 and a Circuit Court date of October 05 was issued.
