The Lawrence County Fair was in full swing last night with a great turn out for Armband Night. Families from in and around Lawrence County enjoyed the numerous rides and attractions including old favorites like the Sizzler and the Zipper. As well as new additions to the fair like the Zoo where for $2 you can view camels, a kangeroo, monkeys, a white tiger, and more. The concession stands offered funnel cakes, lemonade, and cotton candy. You can get a great hamburger from the Mcguire’s Restaurant stand set up near the Imboden City Park.
Tonight is the first night of the PRCA Rodeo here in Imboden. The rodeo begins at 8:00 pm with a greased pig catch and ladies goat milking. Rodeo admission: Age 5 and under FREE, Ages 6-12 $6.00 , and Adult 13 and up $10.00.
The Saturday night rodeo begins again at 8:00 pm.
Also don’t forget to go through the educational exhibit building and commercial buildings. Blue Ribbon livestock auction will be held at 2:00 pm today.
The Auto Show will take place Saturday beginnning with 9:00 registration, 12:00 judging and the awards at 3:00.
So come on out to the Lawrence County Fair!
