On July 11, 2011 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Dept. arrested Jerrod Rainwater (03/12/84) of Black Rock for possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture meth and possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture meth. The arrest came after the Lawrence County Communication Center received a 911 call that Rainwater was planning on harming himself. Deputies responded to the residence and when Rainwater saw the deputies’ patrol cars he took off running. Deputies got him stopped and while speaking with Rainwater they noticed a working meth lab at the residence. Rainwater was almost finished with the meth cook when he tried to flee from the deputies. The lab was processed and documented. Rainwater was placed under arrest and transported to the Lawrence County Jail.
