Lace, Loops and Laughter: A Beginner’s Tatting Workshop

Tatting, a very old form of lace-making, reached its peak during Victorian times. Learn how to make bookmarks, lace collars, doilies, and more with the Victorian method of tatting with a tatting shuttle. Participants will learn about the history of tatting, where to find supplies, how to read patterns and receive the information they will need to continue to advance their tatting skills. Materials and patterns are given to begin a simple project to take home.
