At 2:15pm the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was called for assistance to a commercial structure fire in Walnut Ridge. Walnut Ridge Fire Department was called to a structure fire at the old Ashlock Tire building at 2pm on Sunday, firemen reported heavey smoke upon arriving and requested assistance from the Hoxie Fire Department, who responded with several fire trucks and manpower.
The Imboden Volunteer Fire Department houses the “Mobile Air Support” trailer for Lawrence County. Imboden responded with it’s Rescue 3 and Mobile Air Support Trailer to the fire in Walnut Ridge. Imboden also sent several fire fighters for manpower to assist.
Arkansas State Police, Walnut Ridge Police, AET Ambulance, Sedgwick and Alicia Volunteer Fire Departments were also on scene assisting the Walnut Ridge Fire Department with the fire.
