The Sharp County Sheriff’s Department is recognizing Police Officers Memorial day on May 16th, 2011 at 9:00am in front of the court house. Special guest speaker will be Attorney General, Dustin McDaniel. Also special guest will be the Jack Richardson family. Sheriff Mark Counts is inviting the public to attend and pay tribute to all fallen officers. County Judge Larry Brown signed a proclamation declaring May 16 National Police Officer Day.
