Pocahontas Police Chief Suspended While FBI Conducts Drug Investigation

Reports and details are still very slow coming from the City of Pocahontas about the FBI raid earlier this week concerning city employees. Rumors began as soon as the raid was conducted but the Mayor of Pocahontas was very cautious with his choice of words.

Now Mayor Frank Biggers has come foward and announced that his Chief of Police, Chad Mulligan is suspended due to the ongoing FBI investigation. Mayor Biggers says Mulligan has not been charged at this time, but he felt the investigation warrants the suspension.

Mayor Frank Bigger’s says he has appointed Cecil Tacket as the acting chief. The Federal investigation is still ongoing in Pocahontas with the help of the Arkansas State Police.
