On Thursday, Sheriff Jody Dotson, K-9 Deputy Blake Liscomb and Jailer Debbie Burton paid a visit to the Walnut Ridge Elementary Schools Preschoolers.
32 students braved cool temperatures and windy conditions to spend a little time with the Sheriff. Topics covered ranged from Seat Belt Safety to Drug Awareness. Deputy Liscomb and his partner Ben the K-9 spent time visiting with each child while Liscomb explained Ben’s training and his job for the Sheriff’s Department.
Sheriff Dotson gave students souvenirs and coloring books at the end of the program.
