On Monday, 60 year old Bob Castleman of Fairview Road just outside of imboden was arrested by the Hoxie Police Department for possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture a controlled substance.

On Tuesday, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at the home on Fairview Road where Castleman lived with his 27 year old son, Robert Jerrod Castleman.

During the search deputies discovered items used to make a meth lab such as copper tubing, drain cleaner and empty starter fluid cans. Along with the lab components, deputies also seized marijuana and suspected marijuana seeds. Castleman also admitted to burning marijuana and a pipe in the backyard, knowing police were coming to the residence.

Robert Jerrod Castleman was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana).

Bob Castleman is currently free on bond, Robert Jerrod Castleman’s bond was set at $10,000.00 on Wednesday.
