The Imboden Volunteer Fire Department had a very active month in March, firemen were very busy with both wrecks and fires.

Tuesday March 1st: Brush Fire Hwy 62 and VanWinkle Road

Wednesday March 2nd: Firemen worked a wreck on Hwy 115 involving 2 vehicles with no injuries.

Sunday March 13th: Firemen responded to an injured horse rider who was transported to the hospital.

Friday March 18th: Firemen responded to a hay fire on Lawrence 203, later that day firemen responded to a wildlands fire on Hwy 115. Firemen also revisited both those fires the same day due to windy dry conditions.

March 19th: Firefighters responded to a 3 vehicle wreck on Hwy 63 at Lawrence 106, one person was air-evaced to the hospital, one was transported by ambulance and one by private vehicle to area hospitals.

March 20th: Firemen responded to a large wildlands fire on Lawrence 224 and Lawrence 214. That same day firemen responded to a fire at 2515 Hwy 115 in Annieville.

March 21st: Firemen responded to a one vehicle rollover with injuries on Hwy 62 outside of Imboden.

March 22nd: Firemen worked traffic in Imboden after a semi truck broke down in the middle of the Hwy 62 and 63 intersection.

March 23rd: Firemen responded to fence on fire at 230 Fairpark Drive in Imboden. Later that day firemen responded to a one vehicle wreck on Hwy 62 just outside Imboden with no injuries.

March 24th Firemen were cancelled en-route to a wildland fire on Lawrence 219 that turned out to be a controlled burn. Firemen also assisted on a medical call on Treatenberg Lane that same day.

March 26th: Firemen assisted with a medical call on Stephens lane.

March 29th: Firemen were called to a two vehicle accident with no injuries on Hwy 115 and Clear Springs Road in Annieville.

The Imboden Volunteer Fire Department also participated in an exercise with the Black Rock Volunteer Fire Department at the Black Rock High School on March 17th.
