Feb.24th the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department arrested Mitchell Allen Nicholas of Alicia for possession of a controlled substance, meth and for possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use.
The arrest came after a Lawrence County Deputy went to a residence in Alicia looking for a subject on a warrant. Once at the residence the deputy came into contact with Nicholas and while speaking to him about the whereabouts of the subject with the warrant the Deputy noticed used syringes and spoons with what appeared to be meth residue. The Deputy asked Nicholas about the items and he admitted to the Deputy that he used the items to “shoot up with”. The Deputy also noticed several corner baggies with powder residue and one containing white powder.
