Feb.23rd the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department arrested David Bohall of Hardy for failure to register as a sex offender.

Bohall had been living in the Ravenden area back in 2004 and did not register as a sex offender for over a year, a warrant was issued for his arrest in 2005 after checking to see if he had registered anywhere else.

Bohall, a level 2 sex offender had moved into Sharp County and had lived there for some time. Bohall was stopped for a traffic violation by Sharp County and a check of him showed the warrant from Lawrence County.

Sharp County confirmed the warrant and a deputy from Lawrence County was dispatched to pick up Bohall and bring him back to Lawrence County to face his charges.
