The arrest came after a Lawrence County Deputy on patrol in Black Rock was called by a concerned citizen who reported some suspicious activity and a vehicle description. The deputy made contact with the vehicle and noticed several items he recognized as items used to manufacture meth.
Back up units from the Arkansas State Police and Lawrence County were dispatched to help with the situation. Deputies found all the ingredients to a meth lab including the pseudoephedrine.
Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing. Bond was set at $5000.00 on each subject on the next day and a Feb.28th Circuit Court date was issued.
