Hwy 63 and Hwy 115 both were shut down for several hours in today’s snow. Lawrence County Deputies and Arkansas State Police shut down Hwy 63 north of Imboden with the assistance of the Ravenden Police Department while wrecks on Hwy 115 at Dickson Hill stopped traffic and kept wreckers busy.
Deputies reported several semi trucks and passenger cars off in the ditch at Smith Curve on Hwy 63. Arkansas State Police had several semi trucks stuck on Hwy 115.
Around 11:00 the Ravenden Police Department shut down Hwy 63 at Ravenden to help prevent even more accidents.
Deputies braved cold conditions and dangerous drivers attempting to stay safe and assist motorist.
