The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow… sleet… and freezing rain… which is
in effect from 9 am to 6 PM CST Thursday.
* Snow totals will range from 1 to 3 inches. Sleet and ice
accumulations will be less than a tenth of an inch.
* Timing: a wintry mix will begin as early as 9 am Thursday
morning with light snow tapering off by 6 PM Thursday evening.
* Impacts: travel conditions are expected to become hazardous
Thursday and Thursday night.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow… sleet… or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities… and use caution while
driving.
