Shortly after 2pm on Christmas Day the Lynn Fire Department and Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the scene of a one vehicle accident on Hwy 25 between Lynn and Strawberry.
Firefighters arrived to find a small SUV vehicle crashed into a house. There were no injuries reported but firefighters did face a propane leak at the residence to complicate things. The vehicle struck the tank before hitting the house. Dails Wrecker Service of Ravenden was called to remove the vehicle from the home.
The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody by the deputies for outstanding warrants and transported to the Lawrence County Jail. AET Ambulance of Imboden responded for standby while the fire department was on scene. The Lynn Fire Department was back in service at 3:30 pm.
