AARP Chapter 1728 of Ozark Acres made lots of kids happy last week. Mrs. Martha Frost, Chapter President and Mrs. Carolyn Shoopman, Secretary-Treasurer, along with the help of Mike Frost arrived at the Imboden Area Charter School with gifts for 25 of the students. Mrs. Shoopman, who has a grand-daughter that attends the school, had contacted school director, Judy Warren, before Christmas stating that the Ozark Acres Chapter of AARP was interested in being “Santa†to these children.
Many thanks and deep appreciation goes out to the AARP members who participated in this heartwarming project. You have shown us all the true meaning of Christmas.
