Shortly After 9pm Saturday evening the Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department was paged to assist Sharp County EMS with extracation of victims of a two vehicle head-on accident at Hwy 63 and Hwy 58 in Sharp County. Ravenden responded with it’s Rescue 9 and Engine 1 along with several firemen. Also assisting the Arkansas State Police with the accident was Ravenden Police Chief Tim McComas.
 
Witnesses report there were 4 injured victims in the two vehicle accident with three of the victims being air-lifted to different hospitals. Firemen on scene landed two of the helicopters in Sharp County and one victim was transfered to Imboden via AET Ambulance of Imboden to meet a third helicopter for transfer.
 
The Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was called out to set up a landing zone next to the Imboden Fire Station. Within a few minutes AET Ambulance arrived on scene at Imboden’s landing zone followed by the helicopter. Imboden firemen assisted with loading the patient onboard the helicopter which lifted off shortly there after.
