At a meeting at the Imboden Fire Department on Monday November 15th plans were completed for the Christmas Parade and Celebration by the Ministerial Alliance to follow after the parade.

The parade will be held on Sunday, December 5th at 3:00 pm.

The parade will line up beginning at 4th and Hendrix Street, circle around to Tabor Street and back down East 5th Street. The route will travel 4th Street west all the way to #1 Greyhound where it will turn left and continue to the Sloan Hendrix campus.

The line up for the parade is as follows: Leading the parade will be a Golf Cart with Robert Stallings for whom this years parade is being dedicated to for his years of service to the parade. Next will be the IVFD vehicles followed by other fire departments, ambulances and wreckers. Next will be floats and antique cars followed by motorcycles and ATVs. Next will be Imboden’s Engine 1 with Santa on board followed by Imboden’s Rescue 4. At the end of the parade will be the horses and riders. The parade will start at 3pm.

Once the parade completes it’s route to the school, Santa will be available for photos in front of the Bill McCurley Gym. At 4:30 there will be a singing held at the gym by Kindred Spirit of Beebe Arkansas. The singing program is open to the public and all are invited to attend. Donations will be accepted for needy families in our area. The Alliance is asking for monetary donations and canned goods.

We encourage all local businesses, individuals, organizations, clubs, etc.. to build a float, walk in the parade and pass out candy, or find a way to participate in the City of Imboden Christmas Parade!
