The Arkansas Fallen Heroes traveling memorial flag field will be in Imboden, Arkansas the 15th of October and will remain in place for a week coinciding with the annual Freedom in the Park Celebration that will be held on the 16th.
The memorial will be located be held on Downings  lot (on Hwy 63 across from S & H).  The travelling memorial flag field includes a 3’x5’ American flag for each fallen hero. In front of each flag is a post with a picture and short story of each fallen hero. This is a walk through memorial where not only do you read names but also you are able to see the face of each solider. This memorial flag field has travelled across Arkansas to numerous cities and towns and will continue on so more citizens can learn about the Fallen Heroes from Arkansas.
Their goal is to raise funds by donations to build a permanent memorial that will replicate the memorial flag field and be placed in Jacksonville, AR at the museum of Military History.
