Captain Jody Dotson of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Departments reports that on Saturday September 25th the department collected 44.5 lbs of pills during the DEA RX Take Back Day.
On hand for the Sheriff’s Department were Captain Jody Dotson, Captain Stan Findley and Detective Andrew Turner. Also on hand, Logan and Lauren Dotson representing the ATOD.
The pills collected will now be transferred to the Arkansas State Police and then to El Dorado for incineration on the 30th of September.
The Lawrence County would like to thank everyone who brought out old medications and to all the folks who made this event possible.
