At 3:43 pm the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was called to the scene of a two vehicle wreck south of Imboden on Hwy 63.
Witnesses stated that the Ambulance traveling north on Hwy 63 slowed to avoid a vehicle in the wrong lane when it was struck in the rear by a passenger car. The driver of the car was transported to the hospital via another AET Ambulance. The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department and the Arkansas State Police assisted the IVFD with traffic control until Dail’s Wrecker Service of Ravenden could remove the damaged car from the roadway.
Imboden firemen opened both lanes of traffic back up at 4:18 pm.
