The Bobbie Jean Memorial Library located here in Imboden, Arkansas offers a wide variety of books and materials for local patrons. Recently the Imboden Friends of the Library group purchased a selection of audio books on cd and dvd’s to add to the current library collection. With audio books by authors like Danielle Steele, Louis L’amour, John Grisham and other popular titles patron’s will be sure to find something they enjoy. DVD’s based on books like The Thorn Birds or Gone With the Wind are also available to be checked out.
The Friends of the Library is a non profit organization dedicated to assisting the Imboden branch of the Lawrence County Library in it’s numerous projects and programs. These very special friends provide money for projects throughout the year from their membership dues, the friends of the library book sale,and proceeds from fundraisers like the annual Pancake Breakfast. If you would like to find out how to join the Friends of the Library please stop by their next meeting on September 8th , 12:30 at the Imboden library or come by the library anytime to speak with the librarian.
The Bobbie Jean Memorial Library will be closed for the Labor Day holiday Saturday and Monday but we encourage you to stop by during their regular hours to take advantage of everything the library has to offer.
