Thursday Night was arm band night at the Lawrence County Fair. Patrons were out by the hundreds with the warm but mild temperatures.
Arm band night is always one of the most popular and busy nights at the Lawrence County Fair. Fresh squeezed Lemonade and the smell of funnel cakes filled the air. The sounds of laughter and screams of the kids riding the zipper and the sizzler. As you walk around the fairgrounds you’ll see familiar faces and old friends talking to one another every few feet.
Tomorrow night starts the Lawrence County Rodeo at the Rodeo Arena. Hope to see you there!
