On August 13th the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department arrested Jody Tribble of Walnut Ridge for possession of pseudo ephedrine with the intent to manufacture meth and over possession of pseudo ephedrine according to Captain Jody Dotson of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest came after a concerned citizen reported to the LCSO that Tribble was trying to purchase pseudo ephedrine from several different locations.
Tribble, who is on parole was contacted by his parole officer and a home visit was conducted as well as drug tested by the parole officer and failed for meth. Tribble was mirandized and told the officers that he had indeed been trying to purchase pseudo ephedrine with the intent to manufacture meth and that he was trying to purchase more than the legal limit of pseudo ephedrine.
Tribble was placed under arrest and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing. At the bond hearing on Monday bond was set at $10,000 and a Circuit Court date of August 25th was given.
