At 9:19 am on Wednesday the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was called to assist the Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department at a house fire on Hwy 90 just across the Randolph county line.
Imboden responded with it’s Engine 6 and Rescue 3 along with 8 firefighters to assist. The Ravenden Spring Volunteer Fire Department also responded with an engine as well as several firefighters.
The residence, a two story home was the Kent Sharp residence located at 23661 Hwy 90. Imboden was on scene at 9:30 am. Firefighters from all three departments battled the blaze which was mostly concentrated on the second floor for about an hour. The house suffered extensive interior damage, no one was home at the time of the fire.
Along with the fire departments, Medic One Ambulance Service was on the scene as well.
