Customers of AT&T in and around the Imboden area are unable to use their cell phones just outside of town.

For the 3rd time in just over 2 months weather has effected a tower used by AT&T located in Randolph County.

Thursday’s lightning producing storm around 7:30 pm took a toll on the signal strength of cell service. Dead spots in the service are numerous including the Hwy 115 area towards Anneville and service also drops off just past Hope Cemetery on Lawrence 203.

AT&T was contacted and at this time no time has been given as to when it will be fixed. In past outages the tower had been struck by lightning and the outage in late May resulted in service being out for a week.
