Once again the hard work of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department results in three arrest in Minturn. July 2nd the LCSO arrested Justin Bryd, Joshua Morris and Aaron Benson all of Minturn for theft of property and criminal tresspassing. Arrests were made after a resident reported that her car had been broken into and several items were missing earlier that morning.
The Sheriff’s Office reported that access was gained by breaking a window on the vehicle. Information gathered led deputies to a suspect who then provided more information leading to the three arrest.
After the Lawrence County Deputies spoke with the three suspects it was learned that five other vehicles were also broken into in the Minturn area.
All three suspects were arrested at Minturn and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing. Over $1000.00 in property was taken during the spree and $150.00 worth of damage was done to a vehicle according to Captain Jody Dotson of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.
